Summary: This research proposes to think about a series of questions, inherent to drawing, which provides strategies for the construction of performative drawing in contemporary art. The use of the term performative drawing refers to the process of creation that evidences the gesture of drawing of the artist's body during of the action of drawing through strategies that reveal the power of drawing to participate in the capturing new possibilities of art, considering phenomenological issues that alter the notion of project by problematizing it within the space and time of action. For this purpose, it is considered the drawing possessor lines of escape or rupture, through the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze, to see the most diverse possibilities of drawing, beyond the conceptions and traditional techniques. The study is based on theoretical
contributions from other authors and analysis of works by artists who explore the action of the artist's body in creation, in an interpretative orientation for drawing, that is, seeking possibilities of reading works in a perspective of the gesture of drawing, in order to identify common strategies that allow associating them in propositions of performative drawing.
