Summary: Disney princess films combine enchantment and innocence, engaging children in multiple levels of children's culture, with stories and products loaded with affection, creativity, gender ideology, and aesthetic standards. In addition to the films, with the commercialization of the image of the princesses in children's products, the company builds and massifies an imaginary intrinsically linked to femininity and consumption in children around the world. In this research, we will deal with the theme of the deconstruction of the image of these princesses through the digital photographic series "Fallen Princesses" by Surrealist Pop Dina Goldstein (1969 - ), produced in Canada between 2007 and 2009. The artist, from her work with photography, the symbolic universe of the princesses present in the imaginary of millions of girls in the western world and seems to propose a revision of reality from the "happily ever after". For a better understanding of these images we adopt the method of analysis of the Universitat Jaume I de Castelló of Spain, followed by a historical and social contextualization of the artist and the series. Our search is for a deepening in the meaning of images, which in our view instigates the viewer to a look not only contemplative, but which criticizes, questions and re-means the female social place in today's society through contemporary digital networks. At the end of the research we conclude that the work of Goldstein invites the viewer to observe his childhood heroines from the maturity, questions the ideological and aesthetic patterns of animations, and highlights the need for a review of models that represent contemporary women.
