Summary: This dissertation has as objective research / understand / reveal how multiple art relations with the city collaborate in the production of works capable of activating new urban landscapes by passerby. To bring the reflection as an example the work "Caminho das Águas," the artist Piatan Lube. The intervention that began as a work for the 8th Salon Biennale Sea, held in Vitória / ES between days 20 December 2008 and 5 February 2009; became project when in 2010 expanded its borders and landed in Florianópolis / SC. Caminho das Águas is an intervention that recalls the old boundary between the sea and the earth in a physical rereading. His blue line 30 inches wide, painted on the ground questions the urban space, strength collective questions about the transformations of man in nature, even provisionally cause search / rescue a small collective memory overlaying the past to contemporary form of cities, inviting its inhabitants, through art, to rethink itself in a number of possible developments visual, pictorial and why not personal. Line that causes the passer / viewer a visual projection of a city that no longer exists, which now lies buried beneath our feet and sleeping in oblivion of the past. Thus comes to appropriate the city in an ephemeral action, intervening in the history of the project participants capital-island, in equity dialogues linking memories (geological, natural, cultural, economic and social) and integrate an occupancy of narrative and urban development .
