Summary: The object of study of this work is the impact of the use of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the art system. To do so, it establishes theoretical and practical analogies between natively digital (or digitized) images and printmaking techniques, which are grounded in reproducibility. Within the context of the almost unrestricted reproduction of digital works, the research proposes to observe in what ways the art system restructures itself through the connection with blockchain technology. Considering the artistic production associated with NFTs, especially since the first quarter of 2021, the work covers the aesthetic and sociocultural developments of the use of online platforms for the circulation of art. The issues of authenticity and poetic legitimacy that influence aesthetic experience are emphasized. The research employs a participatory and exploratory qualitative methodology, with data collection, bibliographic studies, analysis of works and platforms, and poetic actions. For this, it proposes experimentation with the digital medium through the publication of digital prints.
