Summary: In this research, 24 sketchbooks named Blackbooks, linked to the artistic expression of graffiti in the Grande Vitória-GV scene, are analyzed in a descriptive way. We sought to outline a study based on the emergence of these supports in order to describe and outline their typologies. For this, we consider concepts, methodologies and cataloging tools developed in the area of archival science, starting with the study of 19 blackbooks, in a broader perspective and, finally, in a more specific cut, the study of 5 notebooks of a subject called Basi. At first, it was possible to perceive that since antiquity, the notebooks are advisory territories of the poetics of the subject practicing the drawing activity, being: a sketch, a scheme, a daydream or a finished caricature. From there arise shared and autographed notebooks called Amicorum, in which people exchanged drawings and signatures WHEREver they traveled. In a second moment, we carried out the rescue of drawings present in the studied notebooks, in a cataloging and classifying perspective. Finally, with the analysis of Basi`s notebooks, we noticed an interconnection of the images taken from these notebooks with the others studied.
